AGENCY DAY AUGUST 27, 2021

 Welcome to Agency Day 2021! Here you will find all information, recordings, handouts, and more information about topics discussed during our sessions.

Agency Day is an annual learning session required by Feeding America. In order to complete the requirement, agencies should attend a scheduled webinar. After the webinar is complete, agencies that handle food are required to complete the ServSafe Food Handler Test for Food Banking.

If you have not yet RSVP'd for a date, please contact Agency Services at (260) 447-3696. Each date will have a morning and afternoon session available to choose from.

ServSafe Food Handler Test for Food Banking

All agencies that handle and/or distribute food are required to complete annual ServSafe training. We have included training slides and an online quiz (30 multiple choice questions) that will serve as proof of completion. Quizzes are due no later than Friday, September 3, 2021.

  

Agency Partner Advisory Council

Community Harvest Food Bank will be starting a Partner Advisory Council with member agencies from all nine counties in our service region, and applications are available to member agencies in good standing. To learn more about the PAC, click HERE.

 Please Complete Agency Survey to Help Guide our Resources

Community Harvest has made a focus of its strategic plan going forward to build agency capacity. In 2020, a special Feeding America grant made it possible to share over $300,000 with agencies to help them purchase food, equipment, and supplies for their distributions and outreach. We want to focus on getting more resources for agencies in a strategic way based on feedback, so we've created an agency survey that will guide us in this goal to make opportunities available to agencies that are relevant and in demand.

The survey should be easy to complete and fairly fast, taking approximately 30 minutes to finish. We've asked questions that cover a range of topics to get a better understanding of what challenges you face and what we can do to assist you in your mission. All feedback received is important to us!
