Community Harvest to Begin Partner Advisory Council

Community Harvest Food Bank will be starting a Partner Advisory Council with member agencies from all nine counties in our service region, and applications are available to member agencies in good standing. The Partner Advisory Council is a coalition of network partners who serve as advisors to Community Harvest Food Bank (CHFB). In addition, the Council provides practical input and feedback on CHFB plans to strengthen network capacity to better meet the hunger need in the community. The Council will give voice to the whole network and guide CHFB in setting goals and developing solutions that benefit all our agency partners....

Community Cupboard Pantry Hours Update

Please Note: We are updating our Community Cupboard pantry hours in order to expand voucher access to those who are unable to come during the daytime hours. Monday through Thursday hours will remain the same. Friday will be open later. Effective immediately, the new hours will be: Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Clients must arrive at least 1 hour before closing to shop) Friday: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM (Clients must arrive at least 1 hour before closing to shop) Saturday: Closed Sunday: Closed

Grant Opportunity Available for CHFB Agencies

Community Harvest is the recipient of $295,000 in funding from Feeding America, requested for use in support of member agencies. Please join us for a conference call webinar on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Thanks to Feeding America support, Community Harvest is able to re-grant $295,000 in funding to member agencies in northeast Indiana.In total, Community Harvest will be making 60 awards to agencies in amounts between $1,000-10,000. Interested agencies will complete a grant proposal to be reviewed against a scoring rubric. Agencies should apply for funding they need, and the resources will be allocated to the best of our ability.Goals...
