Community Cupboard Voucher Limits Back up to 100 lbs

Great news! As of Monday, August 22, 2022, voucher limits will be raised from 50 pounds to 100 pounds. On Monday morning after 7:30 AM, you will be able to place orders for up to 100 lbs. The current limit of 5 lbs of meat will remain, as we are still short on meat more than other foods at this time.

Important Notice for Pantry Agencies

Dear Agencies,Unfortunately, due to limited donated supply, we are forced to limit the amount of donated meat and salvage on orders. Going forward, agencies will only be able to order a combined total of up to 100 pounds of meat products, plus 300 pounds of salvage per week. Agencies with limited pantry hours will be limited to the same amounts on their normal ordering schedule (ex. 1x per month, 2x per month). We are very sorry to have to implement these limits, but as supply continues to be low, we want to make sure as many of our 350 agencies...

Due to nonperishable food supply constraints, there will be a Community Cupboard voucher limit of 50 pounds beginning on Monday, May 2nd.We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause! We understand that clients coming to the food bank are in need of assistance, and we want to make sure as many people receive food as possible. Due to recent supply limitations, we are forced to decrease the maximum voucher amount to 50 pounds until further notice. This includes all vouchers, including agency issued vouchers and CHFB issued Hope for Heroes vouchers.Clients with existing vouchers over 50 pounds may still redeem them...

Community Harvest has made a focus of its strategic plan going forward to build agency capacity. In 2020, a special Feeding America grant made it possible to share over $300,000 with agencies to help them purchase food, equipment, and supplies for their distributions and outreach.
