Grant Opportunity Available for CHFB Agencies

Community Harvest is the recipient of $295,000 in funding from Feeding America, requested for use in support of member agencies. Please join us for a conference call webinar on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Thanks to Feeding America support, Community Harvest is able to re-grant $295,000 in funding to member agencies in northeast Indiana.In total, Community Harvest will be making 60 awards to agencies in amounts between $1,000-10,000. Interested agencies will complete a grant proposal to be reviewed against a scoring rubric. Agencies should apply for funding they need, and the resources will be allocated to the best of our ability.Goals...

Community Harvest Food Bank Holiday Hours 2019

With the holidays fast approaching, we want to make sure all agencies are aware of upcoming hours changes: Community Harvest will be closed on the following dates: Thursday, November 28th Friday, November 29th Saturday, November 30th Tuesday, December 24th (NOTE: Food bank will will keep hours until noon, Farm Wagon will not operate) Wednesday, December 25th Thursday, December 26th Wednesday, January 1st During closing days, clients will be unable to attend the Community Cupboard pantry, Farm Wagon mobile pantry, or Saturday Helping Hands distribution. Community Harvest Food Bank will be closed on the following dates: · June 25, 2019 (Inventory Maintenance) · July 1 through July 6, 2019 (Annual Shut Down) We are at that time of year again! Community Harvest will complete its fiscal year at the end of June. On June 25th, the food bank will be closed to count and update all inventory, and we will have our annual one-week shut down the week of July 4th.
