To all voucher referring partners: Please be advised: We are currently experiencing low food supply in our Community Cupboard pantry. As a result, we must begin limiting voucher redemptions beginning tomorrow, September 27, 2023, to a maximum of 50 lbs before free-weight. This will be until further notice as we work to gain additional inventory supply. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If your client is in need of additional food assistance beyond the voucher, please refer them to any of our public Farm Wagon distributions available during the week, or to our Saturday Helping Hands distribution every...
Agency Day 2023 Is Scheduled!

Our Agency Day 2023 is scheduled for Friday, October 20, 2023 at Fellowship Missionary Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is required for all agencies that store food, and voucher only agencies are also encouraged to attend for food bank updates, education sessions, and more! There will be two sessions, both a morning and afternoon session. Morning Session: Registration: 8:30 AMEvent: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Afternoon Session: Registration: 11:30 AMEvent: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Pre-registration is required. WASHINGTON, Sept. 2, 2023 - Conagra Brands, Inc, a Marshall, Mo. establishment, is recalling approximately 245,366 pounds of frozen chicken strips entree products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically pieces of plastic, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. TODORGANIC INC. Recalls Nuez De La India Seeds Product Due to Possible Health Risk

TODORGANIC INC Middleburg FL is recalling its Nuez de la India Seeds because FDA analysis has determined that the seeds appear to be Thevetia peruviana, or yellow oleander. All parts of the yellow oleander plant are known to contain cardiac glycosides that are highly toxic to humans and animals. Ingestion of yellow oleander can cause neurologic, gastrointestinal, and cardiovascular adverse health effects that may be severe, or even fatal.
