Community Harvest Food Bank will be closed on the following dates:

·         June 25, 2019 (Inventory Maintenance)

·         July 1 through July 6, 2019 (Annual Shut Down)

We are at that time of year again! Community Harvest will complete its fiscal year at the end of June. On June 25th, the food bank will be closed to count and update all inventory, and we will have our annual one-week shut down the week of July 4th.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we encourage all agencies to plan ahead with their upcoming orders. We want to make sure everyone has enough food during the time Community Harvest is closed.

Important Ordering Information for the closing on June 25th:

For Agencies Ordering Food for Pickup or Delivery: Normally, the food bank requires a 2 business day period between an agency ordering and receiving food to give our warehouse staff time to pick orders. However, inventory will be frozen for a period of time to prepare for counting.

• Orders placed online before 4PM on Friday, June 21, can be received on Wednesday, June 26th when we reopen.
• Orders placed online after 4PM on Friday, June 21, can be received on Thursday, June 27th.

For Agencies Ordering Vouchers Only: All voucher orders must be placed by NOON on Monday, June 24th for clients to shop in Community Cupboard on Monday before we close for inventory. Any orders placed after noon will be imported and available to clients on Wednesday, June 26th when we reopen. 

Farm Wagon trucks will run normally on Tuesday, June 25th. If you host a Farm Wagon site, drivers will arrive at the expected times. If you do not host a Farm Wagon, but would like to refer clients, the program is open to anyone in need and the schedule can be found on our website at www.communityharvest.org/get-help.
 

Important Ordering Information for the Annual Shut Down:

For Agencies Ordering Food for Pickup or Delivery: To receive food before our last business day on Friday, June 28, all orders must be placed before noon on Wednesday, June 26. Orders placed after this time cannot be picked up or delivered until the week of July 8 when we reopen.

For Agencies Ordering Vouchers Only: Clients receiving vouchers must shop by Saturday, June 29, or they may shop when Community Harvest reopens on Monday, July 8. Please let clients know of our limited upcoming hours.
