CHFB Shut Down and Excess Produce Notice

Posted by Katie Savoie on

Dear Partners,

As is the case every year, we will be shutting down for one week during the Independence Day week in July. Our food bank will be closed from July 1 through July 6, 2024, including all programs and Farm Wagon mobile pantry visits. In the hopes of providing everyone plenty of notice, please let this email serve as a reminder to prepare accordingly. If you are an agency that distributes vouchers, please make sure that your clients are aware that they will not be able to utilize their vouchers during this time.

If you are an agency that runs a pantry or otherwise stores or distributes food directly, we may have excess produce prior to shut-down. If you would like to be included on a call list for excess produce, please visit the link below to fill out a simple survey that should take about 1-2 minutes.

As always, we thank you for your patience and partnership!

Sincerely,

Community Harvest Food Bank
